e-mails!

I was just checking my mail this morning and i saw a few interesting ones. This one was forward to me by a friend and has "how people change" in its subject line.

There was a blind girl who hated herself just because she was blind. she hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. he was always there for her. she said that if she could only see the world, she would marry her boyfriend.

one day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her and then she could see everything, including her boyfriend. her boyfriend asked her, "now that you can see the world, will you marry me?" the girl was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend was blind too, and refused to marry him.

her boyfriend walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to her saying,"JUST TAKE CARE OF MY EYES PLEASE."

this is how humans change when their status changes. only few remember what life was before, and who has always been there in the most painful situations.

Damm, i hate this kind of situation. But i fully agree with the last statement. Status changes the person. This is just one of the many examples. I believe there are many more other situations in this world. How do i know then? Maybe because of the TV dramas that i have watched. But where do the script writers come up with these characters if they do not exist?

Anyway, i just feel that we should always be grateful to the people who are always there for us in times of need. Be it just a hug, a listening ear, a helping hand or someone pulling us out the whatever shit we get ourselves into. These people were there when we needed someone to be there. So don't disappoint them when they need us.

Although i believe that these people don't mind not getting back anything but they are also humans, needing someone to hold onto. So the least we can do, is to be there in whatever way. GIVE AND TAKE, that's how it works! =D

So, when our status change as we move on in life, REMEMBER those who were there for you.
